MediaWorx is the build layer behind Deshima. While Deshima Music (Layer 1) provides the label framework and accountability, and Deshima Sessions (Layer 2) enables decentralized, project-based production, MediaWorx delivers the tools and design systems that make the workflow scalable and repeatable. Everything here is built from real sessions.

We develop in-house software concepts to solve practical problems—browser-based session players, multitrack review, marker notes, timing/BPM utilities, deliverable packs, release-ready web components, and a consistent visual system for artists and producers. Some tools stay exclusive to our internal stack. The concepts that prove themselves in day-to-day production are released as products—either download-ready or custom-built for your pipeline.

We use proven software release models depending on the tool:

• Shareware / Trialware: try it in real work before you buy.
• Open Source (permissive): community-friendly building blocks with clear attribution.
• Dual Licensing: an open version for the community, plus a commercial license for teams that need different terms.
• Open Core: a free core with optional Pro modules for advanced workflows.
